“The driver was very pleasant, courteous, and punctual, and the transport was pristine and comfortable. The tour guide at the salt pans was good and did a separate tour for the English for the non-Italians which I appreciate. But I felt the whole experience was lacking somehow. I’m not sure what I expected but this wasn’t it. Perhaps being able to get a drink at the end to watch the sunset but the bar/restaurant were rushed off their feet and too manic to serve us which was a pity. After the way the salt pans are bigged up, I’d hoped to enjoy it more. I did buy some 1kg bags…”
